Rently Pay facilitates earning rewards on your biggest monthly expense—your rent. You enter your lease details, upload your tenancy agreement, select your rewards plan, and securely save your payment method (eGIRO or credit card).
Each month, we ensure your rent is paid to your landlord on time on your due date. For credit cards, we may place a hold 2-3 days before, then process the charge on your due date. For eGIRO, we facilitate the payment on your due date and collect from your bank account accordingly—while you earn rewards along the way.
Yes. We require a valid tenancy agreement to verify your rent amount, landlord payment details, and lease dates.
Important: You must be listed as the main tenant (or leaseholder) on the tenancy agreement. If you're listed as an "occupier" or subtenant, you cannot sign up for Rently Pay—the main tenant would need to apply instead.
Uploading your tenancy agreement takes less than a minute during setup.
No. As long as you have your landlord's bank account details, you can set up Rently Pay—no landlord approval or action needed.
What your landlord sees:
A standard bank transfer from "Rently" with your name in the transaction reference. It arrives exactly like any regular rent payment—they won't know you're using a credit card or eGIRO, and there's nothing for them to set up or approve.
Your landlord receives the money on your rent due date as written in your tenancy agreement. We use the exact date from your contract and cannot change it without documented proof of landlord agreement.
You can cancel anytime up to 72 hours before your rent due date by emailing support@rently.sg or canceling directly in the app on your Rently Pay setup page.
Once you're within 72 hours of your due date, we can no longer cancel the payment.
Credit card rewards: Most cards award points, miles, or cashback on Rently Pay payments, but this depends on your card issuer.
Max Miles: Earn Max Miles every month you pay rent. Redeem for flights, upgrades, hotels, and more.
After each rent payment:
New HeyMax users: You'll receive an email invite to create a HeyMax account and claim your miles.
Existing HeyMax users: Miles are automatically credited to your account.
Important: Max Miles are sent to the email address associated with your Rently account. Make sure this email is correct in your profile settings.
Max Miles are typically credited within 7 business days after your rent payment.
Miles not showing up? Verify your Rently account email is correct, or contact HeyMax support directly at help@heymax.ai for reward-related issues. You can also reach Rently Support at support@rently.sg.
We facilitate the payment, but your card issuer decides how rewards apply. Most cards treat Rently Pay charges as standard purchases, but we can’t guarantee this. If in doubt, check with your card provider.
Yes — all payments are processed through bank-level security and encrypted to keep your details safe.
No. Rently Pay is a rental facilitation service. You’re paying Rently directly for ensuring your rent is paid on time. We are not a payment intermediary, escrow agent, or fiduciary for your landlord.
No strict minimum. However, we prioritize leases of $1,500 SGD or more for faster approval. Applications for significantly lower amounts may not be approved.
Not yet. The main leaseholder must set up Rently Pay and pay the full rent amount listed in the tenancy agreement.
However, housemates can reimburse the leaseholder separately using PayNow or bank transfer.
No. You can only have one active lease on Rently Pay at a time. If you're moving to a new property, you'll need to cancel your current setup before adding a new lease.
We also do not accept commercial leases—Rently Pay is only available for residential tenancy agreements.
